Scott Parker leaves Burnley by 'mutual consent' Burnley have announced the manager Scott Parker has left the club 'by mutual consent' following the team's relegation. Parker was brought in in the summer of 2024, penning a three-year contract with the club and sending them back to the Premier League in his first season. However, the Lancashire side have struggled in the top flight this season, picking up just four wins in their 34 games so far and suffering 22 defeats which leaves them just three points ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"It has been an immense privilege to lead this great club over the past two years," Parker said in a message to fans following his departure. "I have enjoyed every moment of our journey together, but feel that now is the right time for both parties to move in a different direction. " Assistant coach Mike Jackson will be in charge for the final four games of the season with the club now looking to recruit for the 2026/27 Championship campaign.
