Juventus can seal Mason Greenwood deal for €50 million As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport , Juventus are ready to reignite their interest in Mason Greenwood should he decide to leave Marseille in the summer. The Old Lady’s interest in the 24-year-old goes back to early 2023, back a move did not materialise at the time. Greenwood was then loaned to Getafe by Man United, after which he was sold to OM.

At Marseille, Greenwood has rejuvenated his career. Last season, he played a key role in taking Marseille back to the Champions League. This season, he has registered 25 goals and 10 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Despite his numbers up front, OM are not in the Champions League spots at the moment and are lying sixth in the Ligue 1 table, four points off Lyon in fourth with three games left. Missing out on Champions League football is a very real possibility for OM. If that happens, Greenwood is expected to further push for his exit from the Vélodrome.

Greenwood has three more years remaining on his €5. 45m-per-year contract, which has no release clause. OM are expected to demand a fee in the region of €50 million, a stance they’re not expected to budge from even if they miss out on the Champions League, since their sell-on agreement with Man United dictates they’ll have to send as much as 50% of what they make from Greenwood’s sale to Old Trafford.
