Who each SIAC school added to the 2026 high school football schedule
A handful of first-time meetings and a renewed county rivalry headline the SIAC football non-conference games this fall.
EVANSVILLE — Is it too early to discuss high school football? Some of you are screaming absolutely not, even though the calendar says spring. The first official practice isn't until August 3, but teams can and will be outside immediately following Memorial Day.
The 2026 season is also significant for the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference with Vincennes Lincoln leaving as a member following the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year. It leaves a schedule opening for the remaining nine schools. Here's a brief look ahead at which opponents every SIAC school picked up for non-conference games.
Just don't ask me who will be good until at least July. National Signing Day: Every Southwestern Indiana athlete signing in the 2025-26 school year Week 1: Boonville at Bosse Boonville will be a recurring name on this list after securing games with three SIAC teams. These programs met yearly between 1941-66, in addition to four postseason meetings since 2015 (the most memorable being the Pioneers' 42-35 comeback victory in 2018).
This will be the debut for Bosse coach Johnte Hawkins, who was hired in December . The Bulldogs have lost 21 straight dating to Oct. 13, 2023.
