Wells powers past Oakwood 14-1 in Game One of the bi-district

TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The Wells Pirates opened up their postseason run Wednesday night at Tyler Legacy High School, facing off against the Oakwood Panthers in the bi-district round. Wells Pirates hold on to beat Kennard 51-45 These two were supposed to play a doubleheader on Wednesday, but the lightning in the area forced Game one to have a later start. The Pirates went on to beat Oakwood in Game One, 14-1, needing just one more victory to punch their ticket to the area round.
