Minnesota Twins Developing Underlying Secret to Success in 2026

The Minnesota Twins  have not played their best baseball during the 2026 MLB season. Between injuries and underperformance, the ball club has struggled overall. As of this story's publication, Minnesota is just 13-18 and in fourth place in the American League Central standings.

With that being said, the Twins are doing something especially well this year. The lineup is getting on base. Minnesota currently ranks ninth in all of MLB in on-base percentage and fifth in total walks.

Their . 327 OBP and 130 walks are both respectable marks across the first 31 games of the new campaign. When it comes to walks, the Twins only trail the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels.
