The Flyers knocked out the Penguins and move to the second round to face the Carolina Hurricanes. See the second-round series details.

The Philadelphia Flyers closed out the Pittsburgh Penguins in dramatic style and will move on to the second round of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. After falling short in Game 5, the Flyers advanced on an overtime goal by defenseman Cam York. Now Philadelphia will move onto the second round to face the top-seed Carolina Hurricanes .

Here's a look at all the upcoming Flyers-Hurricanes series. Flyers winning goal York couldn't have picked a better time to score his first overtime goal. With the Penguins having most of the momentum through overtime, York put a wrist shot past Pens goalie Artūrs Šilovs with only 2:28 left in overtime.
