WrestleMania coming to Nashville? It's in the works
The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp confirmed it is in talks with the WWE about bringing WrestleMania to the new Titans stadium.
WWE's WrestleMania could be on its way to Nashville. When contacted by The Tennessean on April 29, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp confirmed it is working with World Wrestling Entertainment to set a date for the event, which would take place at the new Titans stadium, a $2. 2 billion, 60,000-seat venue due to be completed in February 2027.
The confirmation comes on the heels of a report by F4W/WON , a website that covers professional wrestling and combat sports, that Nashville has submitted a bid for the annual premium live event produced by WWE each April. On April 28, WWE president Nick Khan teased the 2028 location via PostWrestling. com , saying: "Wait until you hear the announcement on where weโre going to be for WrestleMania in 2028. โ Khan did not specifically say where the event, WrestleMania 44, will take place.
WWE announced on Sept. 12 that WrestleMania 2027 will be in Saudi Arabia. In 2023, The Tennessean reported that WWE had given a verbal commitment to the Titans to host WrestleMania in Nashville in 2027 if the new stadium was built in time.
