Baltimore Orioles Announce Trevor Rogers News on Wednesday
The left-hander is going through adversity after an excellent 2025 season.
It looked like the Baltimore Orioles found their new ace last season, but this year has painted a different picture. The Orioles acquired the New Mexico native from the Miami Marlins in 2024, and he went 9-3 with a 1. 81 ERA over 18 starts last season.
However, he's 2-3 with a 4. 75 ERA over six starts so far this year, and now he's not healthy. Baltimore announced roster moves involving Rogers on Wednesday, via social media.
The Orioles recalled right-handed pitcher Cameron Foster from Triple-A Norfolk and put Rogers on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to Sunday. The latter player has an illness, but the club hasn't clarified what the illness is, per The Baltimore Sun's Jacob Calvin Meyer. We have made the following roster moves: pic.
