Standout UDFA WR jilts Chiefs, opts to attend Eagles rookie camp

•Yahoo Sports

UDFA WR Kajiya Hollawayne decided to attend the Philadelphia Eagles' rookie camp instead of accepting a similar offer from the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs put together an impressive rookie class during the 2026 NFL Draft and didn't shy away from signing collegiate stars who didn't hear their names called when the Annual Player Selection Meeting came to an end last week. While Chiefs general manager Brett Veach was able to agree on contract terms with most of the prospects on his shortlist of undrafted free agents, Temple Owls wide receiver Kajiya Hollawayne is said to be among the players who left Kansas City in the lurch. Hollawayne had offers to attend rookie camps with the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles , and ultimately opted for the latter, according to NFL insider Mike Garafolo: Temple WR Kajiya Hollawayne has accepted an invite to #Eagles rookie camp this weekend.

He also had an invite from the #Chiefs but opted for Philly given his work with Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith. Hollawayne is currently scheduled to attend #49ers rookie camp next week. https://t.

Stay tuned to see if Hollawayne will sign with the Eagles after he attends Philadelphia's rookie camp, and if Kansas City's interest in the former Temple standout will continue if he fails to reach a deal with Howie Roseman's front office.
