The NASCAR Truck Series point standings is very tight entering May 2026. Find out more about the points situation in the Truck Series!

The NASCAR Truck Series has been incredible to start the 2026 season. Through six races, Chandler Smith leads the Truck Series regular season, but there isn't much breathing room. Kaden Honeycutt is one point behind Smith, while the top 7 Chase-eligible drivers are only separated by 27 points.

Ben Rhodes sits eighth in the standings with a 27-point deficit to Smith. Corey Heim, who isn't eligible for the Truck Series championship, sits four points behind Smith in third place. Technically, eight drivers are separated by 27 points, but the 2025 Truck Series champion hasn't run all six races this year.

It has been a wild six races as well, as Layne Riggs is the last Truck Series regular to win a race in late February. The Truck Series has seen two long stretches without races, so hopefully, that changes soon. The standings are very tight entering May, and it will be fascinating to see which drivers create some more separation.
