Boise State's creative tribute to legends Kellen Moore, Ashton Jeanty
Instead of retiring jerseys, the Broncos will honor their two biggest stars in program history with painted hash lines on the field.
Boise State has immortalized its two biggest stars in program history in quite a unique way. The Broncos released a video on social media Wednesday that revealed the new on-field tributes to former quarterback Kellen Moore, currently the head coach of the New Orleans Saints , and former running back Ashton Jeanty, who is entering his second season with the Las Vegas Raiders. Rather than retire their respective No.
11 and No. 2 jerseys, the school is instead painting the sideline hashes at the 11 and two-yard lines orange, a creative homage to Moore and Jeanty. According to the program's post, the colored hashes will be permanent.
