Copa Verde: 12 ties on Wednesday decide second-round places The Copa Verde group stage ends this Wednesday (29), with the teams advancing to the quarterfinals being decided. Three of the eight spots have already been secured: Nacional, Águia de Marabá, and Gama. Another 13 clubs are fighting for the remaining five.
All 12 matches kick off at the same time, at 7 p. m. This year’s Copa Verde is divided into the North Cup and the Central-West Cup.
There are four groups with six clubs each. In Group A of the North Cup, leaders Nacional have already qualified. Guaporé, Trem, and Paysandu are battling for the other spot.
GAS and Independência are just playing out the schedule. In Group B of the North Cup, Águia de Marabá have already secured their place. Porto Velho and Amazonas are fighting for second place.
Remo, Galvez, and Monte Roraima can no longer catch them. In Group A of the Central-West Cup, Araguaína, Rio Branco-ES, Operário-MS, Vila Nova, and Capital-DF are competing for the two spots. Primavera are out of the race.
