Dodgers, Teoscar Hernandez Host Autism-Friendly Baseball Clinic

The Los Angeles Dodgers hosted a baseball clinic for autistic children at Dodger Stadium Tuesday afternoon. The Dodgers welcomed autistic students from the Oxnard School District to teach them about playing baseball as well as learning about the sport in order to highlight their “commitment to accessibility, inclusion and meaningful community engagement, esnuring that individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to experience the joy of baseball. “ Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez, whose 6-year-old son is autistic, made an appearance to support the event.

Hernandez’s son was present at the clinic teaching other children about the game.

” To do this, the Dodgers had interactive stations throughout the field focused on several aspects of the game such as hitting, throwing and catching. The Dodgers implemented this clinic in 2025, and will hopefully become a staple in the Dodgers’ annual calendar as they bring the city together.
