Mookie Betts was finally asked about his former manager being fired, and was asked if he had spoken to him.
"That ainโt got nothing to do with me and I stay out of that," Betts told Dodgers Talk's David Vassegh . Betts is deciding to stay out of the Red Sox's drama entirely. Regardless of how things ended between Betts and the Red Sox, he has always spoken highly of Cora and the coaching staff.
He has noted that he understands the business. However, he made it clear that what happened between the Red Sox and Cora does not concern him. Betts played two seasons with the Red Sox while Cora was managing.

The Betts trade will always be a major point in Red Sox history, but at this point, he is a Dodger and figures to end his career in Los Angeles.
