It's obviously a bummer for everyone who works hard to get one of these horses ready for one of the biggest spectacles in their sport. But it's the reality, and so Silent Tactic will have to heal up in the hopes of later success this year.

Casse said it's "a little bit of separation between the wall... kind of like you ever get something under your nail," via the Courier Journal. They changed Silent Tactic's horseshoe but decided "it's just not gonna work.
