USA TODAY Sports' Paul Myerberg released his first college football ranking, placing Colorado outside the top 100 out of 138 FBS programs.

Colorado football wrapped up spring camp a few weeks ago, and aside from a major quarterback commitment , it has been relatively quiet on the college football front. But now that most teams have finished spring practices, our good friend at USA TODAY Sports, Paul Myerberg, released his first ranking of all 138 Football Bowl Subdivisions teams. Unfortunately for Buff fans, the re-rank is not too high on the Buffaloes.

Myerberg lists Colorado (No. 107 out of 138) among the weakest Power Four teams, along with Stanford (No. 106), Boston College (No.

111), and Purdue (No. 112). Ranking breakdown The ranking is not surprising, considering the team is coming off a 3-9 season and once again has a roster filled with new names, not to mention a revamped coaching staff.

However, there is room for optimism, given the players' talent and the coaches' resumes. The No. 107 ranking is the lowest mark in the Big 12, even behind schools like Oklahoma State and UCF.
