Yahoo Sports

The Duke Blue Devils have offered a scholarship to Kager Knueppel, younger brother of former Duke alum Kon Knueppel.

After Kon Knueppel had a successful season in Durham with the Blue Devils, Duke has offered 4-star power forward Kager Knueppel, his younger brother, a college scholarship offer. The news was announced Tuesday by Knueppel's AAU team, Team Herro. Team Herro is run by the Herro Foundation, owned by Miami Heat star Tyler Herro.

Kager offers much more size than his older brother, listed at 6'10". If he were to follow in his brother's footsteps at Duke, it wouldn't be until the 2027-28 collegiate season, considering Kager is in his junior year of high school. In addition to Duke, Kager is said to have other offers from Toledo and Purdue.

With three other brothers behind Kager, the Blue Devils are putting themselves in prime position to land much of the Knueppel family. This article originally appeared on Duke Wire: Duke joins recruiting race for Kager Knueppel, Kon's younger brother
