After a small trade-down with the Dallas Cowboys , the Dolphins took Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor at No. 12 overall. The only question now is where the versatile lineman will play for the Dolphins in 2026.
As Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN shared on Twitter/x, Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan revealed that the team plans to play Proctor not at left or right tackle, but rather left guard. Dolphins plan to play Kadyn Proctor at Left Guard "Jon-Eric Sullivan told @JoeRoseShow that first-round pick Kadyn Proctor will start out at left guard and the team will see how things progress," Louis-Jacques writes. The plan for Miami is to keep Patrick Paul at left tackle and have Proctor slide right in next to him at the left guard spot.
Aaron Brewer will remain the team's center, and now at right guard, the Dolphins will switch last year's left guard Jonah Savaiinaea, to the right guard spot to play next to Austin Jackson.
