– Jeroboam De Dios Vargas Jared Triolo’s rehab assignment from a right knee patellar injury was transferred to Double-A Altoona, so the 28-year-old is getting closer to a return. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, three RBI, two runs and a walk in his first game with the Curve on Tuesday night. When Triolo does return, the Pirates will have to decided what the corresponding roster move will be, but it won’t be Konnor Griffin.
