Auburn football lands in top five for Jayden Aparicio-Bailey
Auburn football is among the top schools remaining in the hunt to land the nation's No. 14 safety from the 2027 recruiting cycle.
Alex Golesh and staff are looking to add another elite talent to the 2027 recruiting class. On Tuesday, Hayes Fawcett of Rivals reported that four-star safety Jayden Aparicio-Bailey has narrowed his choices down to five schools. The Auburn Tigers are one of those schools, along with Clemson , Georgia , Ohio State, and South Carolina.
Aparicio-Bailey is one of the top prospects from Alabama in the 2027 recruiting class. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is rated as the No. 6 player in the state and the No.
9 safety nationally. 247Sports, like many other publications, has Aparicio-Bailey rated as a four-star player. He will be playing his senior season for the Prattville Lions, but before that, he attended Oak Mountain High School in Pelham.
He is scheduled for an official visit to Auburn on June 12. The Tigers currently have ten safeties on the roster, including Champ Anthony (senior), Kaleb Harris (junior), and Eric Winters (sophomore), to name a few of the top players at the position. Auburn has three players committed to the 2027 class.
