Nebraska basketball adds SEC transfer via transfer portal
Nebraska women's basketball added Auburn transfer Arek Angui and she will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Nebraska women's basketball made a big addition on Tuesday. Arek Angui is a redshirt freshman from Auburn and will have three seasons of eligibility remaining. She stands at 6-feet-9 and becomes the tallest player in Nebraska women's basketball history.
Last season, she appeared in 20 games, averaging 1. 5 points and 2. 6 rebounds in 8.
8 minutes. Angui attended Greenforest Christian Academy in Decatur, Georgia, leading the team to the GHSA A Division state championship as a senior in 2024. She averaged a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds per game.
