Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt has two Notre Dame players inside his top-10 2027 NFL draft prospects.

With the 2026 NFL draft already “behind” us, many have been looking ahead to which players could gets selected early in the 2027 version. At this point, it’s much easier to have a list to top prospects, as the draft order is still unknown, which is exactly what Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt did. He released his top-10 2027 prospects and placed two Notre Dame players in it.

Quarterback CJ Carr was ranked No. 9 by the former Colorado quarterback, the third player at the position. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that this is a solid placement for him, although there is plenty of room to move up once the season starts.

Klatt is even higher on Irish star cornerback Leonard Moore, who checked in at No. 2 on his list. Not very often do you see a player at his position getting picked that high, but remember, this isn’t a mock draft, it’s a prospect list.

Moore could buck that trend, which would be extremely impressive considering how much talent that Notre Dame has put into the league from its secondary. While the Irish did place two players on his list, they didn’t have the most, as that distinction went to the Texas Longhorns , who have three of his top-10. Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith checked in as hit top overall player.
