Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche prioritises PSG switch
Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche prioritises PSG switch Maghnes Akliouche (24) almost left his formative club, AS Monaco, last summer, only for his €70m price tag to put off potential suitors. One year later, he is once again being linked with a departure, and as per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, it is one of last summer’s suitors who have returned to the fore. Akliouche was linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur touted as potential destinations for the France international.
PSG’s interest driven by Luis Enrique However, there is also interest within France and specifically from Paris Saint-Germain, who are long-term admirers of the forward. PSG have now reached back out to Akliouche’s representatives. The interest is led by Luis Enrique, who is a big fan of the player.
The Frenchman features highly on PSG’s shortlist and the player himself, Tavolieri understands, is prioritising a move to the Parc des Princes this summer. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
