Athletes from around Texas will compete at regional track and field meets Friday and Saturday with eyes on a berth to the state meet in Austin. Lubbock will play host to simultaneous meets — Region I-4A and Region I-5A — at Lowrey Field. Frenship will send athletes to UT-Arlington's Maverick Stadium for the Region I-6A competition.
