The franchise added a receiver in the third round, Antonio Williams, but many expected the Commanders to try to add a genuine weapon to pair with Terry McLaurin. That hasn't happened... yet.
But will it? I think it has to, as the Commanders can't go into 2026 with McLaurin and a rookie as Jayden Daniels' top two weapons. For NFL.
com's Kevin Patra, he wonders if Brandon Aiyuk is still on the radar. โThe Commanders used a third-round pick on slot receiver Antonio Williams but still lack a legit outside threat to pair with Terry McLaurin,โ Patra wrote . โThe assumption at this point is that they're waiting for Brandon Aiyuk -- Jayden Daniels' close friend -- to wiggle free from San Francisco.
