Nashville SC striker Sam Surridge is out for the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinals against Tigres UANL.

Nashville SC forward Sam Surridge is out for the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinals against Tigres UANL at Geodis Park on April 28. Surridge is Nashville's leading scorer this season with 10 goals across all competitions, nine coming in MLS play. The striker is tied for the lead in the Golden Boot race.

Surridge missed two games in April due to a hamstring injury, including Nashville's 1-0 win over Club América in the second leg of the quarterfinals at Estadio Azteca. He returned to score two goals in the second half of a 4-2 win over Charlotte FC on April 25. Warren Madrigal is starting in Surridge's place against Tigres.
