FC Bayern’s intensity has everyone talking.

Paris Saint-Germain's Spanish head coach Luis Enrique arrives for a press conference of French football club Paris Saint-Germain a day ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final match against German club FC Bayern Munich at the PSG Campus in Poissy, north-west of Paris, on April 27, 2026. Virtually everyone agrees that given Bayern’s meteoric rise in Europe with the quality of football they’re playing and the kinds of players they have, the UCL is inevitable.

Bayern may have lost the first leg of the semi-final against PSG, but it was evident that both the sides were equally matched. Objectively, as a game of football, it does not get more entertaining than two of the most ruthless attacking sides in Europe clashing in the semis. The game did not disappoint fans, and as it turns out, the coaches are not disappointed either.

PSG manager Luis Enrique shared his thoughts following the game. “I’ve never seen such an intensity and physical level. We have to congratulate everyone,” he said, as captured by @iMiaSanMia .

“We deserved to win, we deserved to draw and we deserved to lose today. It was a fantastic game,” he declared, emphasizing the close nature of the battle. The second leg at the Allianz does provide a strong home advantage to Bayern, but one thing is for sure — it will not be easy.
