Woods is a former third-round pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Baylor, where he recorded three total tackles (two solo) in 10 games as a rookie.
He followed that up with five solo tackles in three games in his second season. Since then, he’s spent time on the practice squad or in offseason programs with teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets. Most recently, he tried out for the Cleveland Browns, where he impressed, even recording a pick-six.
