They signed names like Seranthony Dominguez, Jordan Hicks, and Sean Newcomb, but it isn't paying off as the front office had hoped. Domginuez is doing fine after settling into the closer role. He has six saves so far, and is on pace to break his career-high of 16.
Where the team is really struggling is in the middle relief. Dominguez has only blown two saves, but it is Jordan Leasure, who has three blown saves, who has really struggled this season. This gets even more important when you have an offense that is struggling outside of a few players. The club is going to have to figure out who they feel comfortable giving the ball to in high-leverage situations. In their current state, Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller ranks this bullpen 26th, just ahead of the Los Angeles Angels .
