Cooper Flagg hilariously pranked by his mom, Anthony Davis

Cooper Flagg is on top of the world right now after winning the 2026 NBA Rookie of the Year award, defeating former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel by 26 votes after putting up a record-breaking season. But that doesn’t mean the Dallas Mavericks ’ star can’t be brought down a peg or two. With the help of Flagg’s mother, Kelly , and his head coach, Jason Kidd, ten-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis pulled an epic prank on the rookie for his show Foul Play.

Setting Flagg up to think it is part of a Rookie Symposium, things started out normal until two actors playing a married couple started arguing about all sorts of things, from the renovation of their kitchen to the man spending all of the family’s money on gaming and not saving it for the kids’ college tuition. Things got heated after the married couple returned to the room and asked Flagg to pick sides. Finally, Davis, Flagg’s mom and Kidd let the kid off the hook by letting him know he was getting pranked.
