That’s when the Yankees ' flamboyant second baseman broke into a slow, showboating trot around the bases. Like his first two homers of the season, both in the last week, he raised his arms, pointed to opponents and crossed home plate pretending like he’s an option quarterback faking a handoff.

It’s entertaining if you’re a Yankees fan ... and probably hated by everyone else. Chisholm’s night turned painful right before he was on the receiving end of a flip from shortstop Jose Caballero on a fielder’s choice that was the final out in a 4-2 Yanks win over the Rangers.

With two outs and a runner on first, Josh Smith hit a 99. 6 mph groundball right at Chisholm, who got his glove down to make the play before it took a bad hop on the hard Glove Life Field turf. When the ball shot up off Chisholm’s face, Smith reached first base and the official scorer ruled it an E-4.
