Vrabel stepped away from the team for counseling on Day 3 of the NFL Draft amid the controversy surrounding his apparent affair with reporter Dianna Russini. Vrabel committed to doing what is necessary for his family, and as he returned to the building, he gave a message to the team. “I thought he did a great job,” Henry said, via Doug Kyed of The Boston Herald.

“He’s been the same Vrabes, bringing a lot of energy in the room. ” Patriots linebacker Robert Spillane also liked what Vrabel said to the team and said he will be there to support him in any way he can. “I love Coach, and I'm going to be here to support him as he would be there to support me through anything,” Spillane added.

With Vrabel back in the building, the focus turns to football and getting ready for OTAs and the start of training camp in just a few months time. Vrabel is coming off his first year as the head coach of the Patriots, where he led the team to an AFC East championship and led them to a Super Bowl appearance. Vrabel won Coach of the Year last season.
