“Stacy, she’s a visionary, and will be able to really help build the brand, the Sparks brand, which is a strong brand, but we want to keep increasing its position in the marketplace,” Rosen said, per Sports Business Journal . “It’s been Mark Walter’s vision to be able to do that, to align [the Sparks] with the Lakers and the Dodgers. He has three major teams in this market, and we’ll take advantage of all the core competencies we have among the three teams.
” Johns will report to Rosen and Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kaste. She will also work closely with Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman and Dodgers special advisor and assistant to the owner Farhan Zaidi. “With the combination of [Walter] coming to the Lakers and coming into basketball, his people are digging into it like, ‘We’re not going to do this just for the men’s side, we’re going to do this for the women’s side,’” Johns said, per Sports Business Journal .
