Angel Reese celebrated a Magic player dunking on Jalen Duren (again)
Angel Reese clearly has some lingering animosity for Jalen Duren.
On Monday night, the Orlando Magic 's Jamal Cain unfurled the dunk of the playoffs so far when he posterized Jalen Duren. It's the perfect play to symbolize the Magic's decisive 3-1 lead over the Detroit Pistons to this point. It's a moment that hoops fans everywhere will look back upon fondly when remembering this postseason.
In this case, the phrase "hoops fans" once again includes WNBA player Angel Reese. And that's probably for a good reason. For the second time in about a week, the Atlanta Dream star posted a video of a Magic player dunking on Duren on her Instagram story after a decisive Orlando win.
The first instance featured Wendell Carter Jr. , Reese's boyfriend, throwing down an alley-oop slam on Duren in Game 1 in Detroit . Now, we have Reese highlighting Duren's vicious baptism by Cain in Game 4 in Orlando.
There were and remain unconfirmed rumors that Reese and Duren may have dated at some point in the past. With another Instagram post like this, it seems pretty apparent the two hoopers had some kind of personal history, at least. Because Reese is doing what any human being, upset about a former relationship, often does: celebrating their ex's downfall.
