Draymond Green snubs Wembanyama while naming Spurs’ most important playoff player so far

He explained: “Stephon Castle is a winner, Stephon Castle is a special player. To see him taking this leap in these playoffs like this… I think in these playoffs he has been the most important player for the Spurs.
” Green explained that Castle’s impact goes beyond recognition, suggesting his role is often overlooked due to Wembanyama’s profile. “He’ll never get credit for being the most important player, because they got Wemby. But, man… you take Stephon Castle off that team, that is a completely different team.
That kid there, I think he is special,” the Warriors legend concluded. Stephon Castle’s numbers underline growing influence Castle’s performances back up Green’s argument. He has delivered consistent all-around displays that shape how the Spurs operate in this series.
