Williamson, 29, has been hampered with injury this season, missing the first half of the campaign with a knee injury sustained during the 2025 European Championship. The Arsenal vice-captain lifted the Champions League trophy with captain Kim Little last season and has one Women’s Super League title, four League Cups, two FA Cups and one FIFA Women’s Champions Cup to her name during her 12 years in the Arsenal first team. Williamson is one of a number of members of the Arsenal squad whose contract had been due to expire at the end of the season.
