Former Longhorn Cole Hutson will get an opportunity from an iconic NFL franchise. The Frisco, Texas native will attend Dallas Cowboys mini-camp.
As the Dallas Cowboys look to improve their depth , they are giving a former Longhorn a shot at making the roster. On Monday, the Cowboys invited offensive lineman Cole Hutson to their mini-camp. It will be an opportunity for Hutson to show how he can help an NFL team after a productive college career in Austin.
During his time wearing the burnt orange, Hutson played in 48 games, making 23 starts. With the Texas native serving as a model of consistency, the Longhorns O-Line was named a Joe Award Finalist in 2004. The year before, they were named semifinalists.
Each year, the award is given to the best offensive line unit in the nation. REPORT: Texas OL Cole Hutson (Frisco, Tx) (played multiple positions) accepts an invitation to the Dallas Cowboys mini-camp. @InsideTexas @On3 @colehutson22 pic.
