They signed a record-setting kicker as well as two talented tight ends among the UDFA class. The kicker's name is Laith Marjan, and he concluded his college career at Kansas. Marjan first kicked at East Carolina, but after transferring to the Jayhawks, he caught fire.

He made a school-record 14 consecutive field goals. All told for the 2025 season, Marjan was 14-for-17 on field goals and 40-for-40 on extra points. MORE: Diego Pavia, Shedeur Sanders and an NFL QB problem that goes back to Tim Tebow The Steelers, of course, have Chris Boswell, and Marjan will likely aim for a practice squad spot or a potential signing in the case of an injury down the road.

One of the tight ends the Steelers signed was Lake McRee out of USC, who has 51 games of college football experience. In 2025, McRee had 30 catches for 450 yards and four touchdowns. He's 6-foot-4 and 243 pounds.
