Chelsea fans will be underwhelmed as The Athletic release Blues next big transfer target I believe Chelsea fans will mostly be rather underwhelmed with the news that Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon is a target this summer. Scrolling down my social media feed this morning and the general reaction to the Gordon news is not a great one from what I can see from Chelsea fans that I follow. It goes on to say that Chelsea want players with top-league experience who are used to the tough schedule of playing in four competitions in a season. They are also looking for players who are emotionally mature and have strong character.
