Yahoo Sports

The Harbormen will be back on the track Wednesday, April 29 against Whitman-Hanson for their first home meet of the season.

Hingham High track and field rose to the moment, and they owned it. In a meet that said everything about this program, the girls powered past Silver Lake 75–61 nearly matching the boys score of 76-60 for a shared victorious moment across the program. The boys improved to 2-0 with the road victory on April 16.

It was the first win of the year for the Harborwomen, who lost to Plymouth North in the other. You could feel it all afternoon; energy, depth, and a real belief in each other. The Harborwomen ran, jumped, and threw for 52 personal bests.

Every event. Every point earned. Maddie Everett led with a PR win in the 400m hurdles.

Lindsey McManus captured the 100m, with Ellie Truong adding a strong third. The distance runners dominated in their events. Maggie Towle won the mile, with Alexandra Mildrum capturing third.
