PSG Takes Strong Decision Before Bayern Munich Game
PSG takes strong action against a group of Parisian supporters following clashes before the Bayern Munich game.
After the clash between supporters on the road to Angers on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain took a radical measure. The club from the Paris region excluded the Parias Cohortis, a group within the Collectif Ultras Paris. The affected fans have their season tickets suspended until the end of the season.
PSG did not waste time. Two days after the incidents, the capital club showed a red card to the Parias Cohortis. The group that is part of the Collectif Ultras Paris was deemed responsible for Saturday's incidents.
As the Parisian supporters were heading to Angers, a clash broke out along the way, specifically at La Ferté-Bernard in the Sarthe region. One of the buses transporting the fans was damaged, with broken windows. The vehicles, therefore, turned around with the 500 passengers, reducing the away section to only 300 supporters at Stade Raymond Kopa.
Two days later, the 120 members of the Parias Cohortis learned that their season tickets had been suspended until the end of the season.
