The San Francisco 49ers brought in eight undrafted free agents the day after the 2026 NFL draft finished. Here's something to know about each of them.

The San Francisco 49ers on Sunday officially added eight undrafted free agents to their rookie class for this season. Their UDFA class is relatively thin in terms of variety. They added a tight end and a punter, three defensive linemen, two wide receivers and a safety.

All eight players will hold 90-man roster spots with chances to compete for a place on the 53-man roster, although for many UDFAs just earning a practice squad spot is a good start. Here's a quick peek at each 49ers undrafted free agent signing: P Jack Bouwmeester, Texas Bouwmeester is a former Aussie rules football player who began his college career at Michigan State in 2019. He didn't play for the Spartans and was out of college football until 2022 when he caught on with the University of Utah.

In three years with the Utes and one with Texas, he averaged 43. 8 yards per punt across 52 games. TE Khalil Dinkins, Penn State There's a lot to like about Dinkins as a UDFA addition.

He measured in at 6-4, 251 at the NFL combine and clocked a 4. 72 40-yard dash. His production wasn't stellar in five college seasons that featured 15 starts in 49 games.
