Joe's, Bembry was picked up with the 21st overall selection of the 2016 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks The Charlotte, North Carolina native played the first four seasons of his pro career with Atlanta. He also played for the Toronto Raptors before he signed with the Brooklyn Nets in 2021. His stay with the team lasted until he was cut in 2022.
