Saranac beats Plattsburgh, 10-3
SARANAC — After Plattsburgh High tied the game in the top of second, Saranac went on an 8-0 run en route to a 10-3 victory Saturday. Gracie Baxter scattered eight hits that the Hornets were unable to string together to cause much damage. PHS’ Marlie Walker had the only extra base hit for her team.
Teammates Olivia LaMountain and Kiley Kretser had two hits each, as did Saranac’s Irelyn Ryan and Maddie Gagnier. “Plattsburgh did a good job of putting balls in play but just unable to group hits together to create more,” Spartan coach Sam Campbell said. “We hit several balls well but with no luck.

Multiple Ti players had extra base hits led by Addison Munson with a double and triple. Avery Lender, Belle Burroughs, Clara Mitchell, Gracie Carr, Gracie Patnode and Gabby Yaw had doubles. Zowie Norton laced a triple.
