Readers can vote as often as they like in this week's poll until it closes on Thursday, April 30. Here are this week's nominees: Sloane Barrett, South softball Went 5-for-8 with six RBIs, three stolen bases, a double and three runs scored as the Panthers swept White River Valley and Terre Haute South. Barrett doubled and scored the tying run as South rallied with three in the seventh to beat THS, 4-2.
Ally Bland, Edgewood softball Senior went 3-1 in the circle while picking up her 700th career strikeout. Had to go just two innings in a 15-0 win over Brown County, took a tough loss 4-3 vs. Sullivan and then went five innings with 11 Ks in a 5-0 win over Lawrence North and went all five with 12 Ks in a 10-0 win over Beech Grove at the BG Invitational.
