Duke softball earns 20th ACC win in regular season finale vs. Clemson
The Duke Blue Devils earned their 38th win of the season Sunday against Clemson, winning the series 2-1.
The Duke Blue Devils softball team finished out their regular season Sunday, earning a series victory against the Clemson Tigers with a 6-0 win. As a result, Duke finished an incredible 20-4 in ACC Conference play and 38-13 overall. Duke's ace Cassidy Curd pitched a complete-game shutout, going seven innings, allowing just three hits and striking out five.
The win marked Curd's 17th of the season, tied for second among ACC pitchers. D'Auna Jennings did the heavy lifting on offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Jennings also scored three of the team's six runs.
