Cowboys sign veteran wide receiver help in free agency

Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, veteran Marquez Valdes-Scantling is singing a one-year deal with the Cowboys.

com/JULWXtWKmG โ Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) April 27, 2026 Valdes-Scantling is a former fifth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft of the Green Bay Packers. He spent four years with them and racked up 123 receptions for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdowns. Valdes-Scantling spent two years with the Kansas City Chiefs and produced 63 receptions for 1,003 yards and three scores, and more importantly, he earned two Super Bowls rings.
In 2024, Valdes-Scantling spent time with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. He played in 14 games and registered 19 catches for 411 yards and four touchdowns (all with the Saints). 2025 was a wild ride for Valdes-Scantling as he signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
