Zarian McGill earn rookie minicamp invite with Denver Broncos

•Yahoo Sports

Former Colorado center Zarian McGill earns a Broncos minicamp invite after a strong season with the Buffaloes.

Colorado football is stacking up players who have signed with NFL teams as either undrafted free agents or rookie minicamp invitees. Center Zarian McGill is one of those players, and he is staying close by as he'll be joining the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp. McGill was a star for the Buffs in just one season.

He started and played in all 12 games, logging the most snaps on offense with 774. He allowed only one sack, one quarterback hit and eight hurries. McGill was graded as the ninth-best offensive lineman in the Big 12 and the third-best center.

While McGill might not be considered a true diamond in the rough, his final collegiate season does seem to set him up as an intriguing undrafted player for the Broncos. Offensive linemen who can play center are always valuable commodities for NFL teams, and McGill fits that mold. Zarian McGill staying in CO šŸ”ļø @Zarian255026215 x @Broncos #ProBuffs pic.

As a team, Colorado did not have any players selected in the seven-round NFL draft, but the program's success with undrafted free agents should be noted.
