The New Orleans Saints made a lot of roster moves this offseason, headlined by free agent additions of Travis Etienne Jr.
and David Edwards, and the draft selection of Jordyn Tyson in the first round. The focus has been on the offensive side of the ball to further build the offense around Tyler Shough. It's a smart plan, but it does come with the downside of the defensive side of the ball being in need of help.
As ESPN's Katherine Terrell notes, the Saints still have one major question left, and it's in the cornerback room. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis also knows the CB issue needs to be fixed, as their NFL Draft plan "didn't work out. After losing Alontae Taylor in free agency to the Tennessee Titans , the Saints need to find a new cornerback to join the room and take over the nickel spot. Loomis knows the issue and will likely address it by the beginning of the season. The only question is, how will the Saints actually go about filling this need?
