Now, they are brining one of his teammates with him to rookie minicamp.
Pittsburgh has invited punter Gabe Nwosu to their rookie minicamp, per the Senior Specialist All-Star Game. What makes this a somewhat notable invite? Nwosu is 6-foot-6, 296 pounds – an absolute unit at punter.
He had 38 punts in 2025 with a long of 68 yards and 15 punts inside the 20 yard-line. Pittsburgh brought back punter Cameron Johnston after releasing him ahead of the 2025 season, so it seems doubtful that Nwosu will make the team, but he is an anomaly to keep an eye on throughout the rest of the offseason and into preseason play.
